So, these are pretty much the only pants that I can still actually button at the moment! Most of the time I secure my pants with a rubber band or hair tie! Please tell me I’m not the only one to do this!! :)
The top in today’s outfit is actually from the end of last summer. I loved the color and sequin detail and I knew that detail would serve as a great distraction from my growing bump. The V detail visually elongates my torso, thus making my bump ALMOST disappear. And, as always, I used the necklace as an added detail to draw the eye upward instead of down.
What I’m Wearing – Top from last season (can’t remember where I purchased from), Red Engine black jeans, necklace from http://www.panache-salon.com
What are your tips for dressing a baby bump?
Ok, I am giving in after several friends, family members, and random acquaintances suggested that I should share my outfits while pregnant to show that women can be stylish and pregnant at the same time. :) So here we go!
I am currently 6 months (25 weeks) pregnant with my second child. :) This one is a girl!!!
The mixed media print of the top I chose for today helps to camouflage my growing belly and the necklace adds a bit of interest to draw the eye upward, thus helping draw attention away from my belly, too. You can use the same logic to camouflage your belly, too, if that’s where you hold most of your weight.
And here is a peek at my bump.
What I’m Wearing: I just noticed that most of this outfit is from JCPenney!! Top and bottoms – JcPenney! Shoes – DSW shoes Necklace – http://www.panache-salon.com
Thank you for checking out my outfit and stopping by my blog.
I love tops that are easy to throw on and that will mix and match with any bottom seamlessly. This is that top! I can envision so many ways that this top can be worn, but I chose to throw it on with a boot cut jean and heels.

What would you pair this top with?
I love that fringe is big for summer this year. Fringe adds a fun detail to any piece and can work on all shapes and sizes. If you are afraid to wear it on clothing, go for accessories that have fringed details. Remember to have fun with fashion and trends!
What I’m Wearing: fringed top from http://www.shopruche.com, Old Navy skinny jeans, Dillards turquoise heels, necklace from http://www.panache-salon.com
What trend are you wearing this summer?
If you’ve followed this blog for a while you know that I LOVE statement-making necklaces! The right one makes any outfit a little more fun and interesting, and that’s what fashion is all about! Have fun with your clothes and don’t forget to mix and match to get the most out of them!
What I’m Wearing: Top from shopruche.com (last year), Old Navy jeans, Turquoise heels from Dillard’s
Do you have any statement-making necklaces in your wardrobe?
Thanks for stopping by!
I always think that little touches elevate an outfit from boring to super chic! This outfit is definitely not boring!

The other bit of unexpectedness is the fact that I chose to pair this blue top with gold instead of silver.
What do you think?
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!
OH MY! It is good to be back blonde again! Although, the reddish brown was a nice departure from being blonde for most of my life, it just never really felt like ME! This feels better. Whew!
Horizontal stripes aren’t as scary as you may think…if you know how to wear them! My advice is to wear them only where you’d like attention drawn to. For instance, these horizontal stripes probably wouldn’t look as good on a pair of pants! As you know, horizontal stripes widen whatever they are on, so you need to contradict that by making the rest of your outfit long and lean!
What I’m Wearing: Top from Beyond the Rack, Cardigan from Jane, Express jeans, Boots from DSW
Are you afraid of horizontal stripes?
